Day 1: Wednesday, April 21stWelcome to St. Maarten!
Plan to arrive at Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) where our team will meet you and transfer you to our beachfront hotel! Once you're checked in you can spend the rest of the afternoon settling in and enjoying some free time on the beach before our Welcome Dinner tonight!

Day 2: Thursday, April 22ndToday we're starting the morning with our local service project at a youth music school! We'll get a chance to learn about the history and culture of steel pan music and give back to the students learning this craft. Next, we'll take off on our island tour of the French and Dutch side of St. Maarten, including a rum tasting and a stop at the only Black owned art house in St. Maarten.
Once we've finished our tour, we'll head back to the hotel for some free time before we meet up for dinner!

Day 3: Friday, April 23rdGrab your swimsuits and get ready for some fun in the sun! Today we'll have a slow start then head to the marina to cruise around the island on our private yacht! After the yacht we will rest and get dressed for dinner and a night out on Maho Strip!

Day 4: Saturday, April 24thToday you can choose your adventure! After breakfast you can enjoy an ATV tour around the island or take on The Flying Dutchman, the steepest zip line in the world! After the excursions, there is Jungle Pool Party (TBD based on their 2027 calendar) you can choose to enjoy!
Finally, we'll meet up for our last night dinner to cheers to an amazing trip!

Day 5: Sunday, April 25thWe made it to the last day! Enjoy your last morning on the beach before our team guides you back to the airport! The trip may be over but you'll head home with amazing memories of St. Maarten and a new HBCU fam!

Arrival and departures flights will be from Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). Flights are not included in the trip price and must be booked by the individual separately. If you need assistance finding the best flight, please schedule a flight consultation with En Root Travel.
We are staying at the boutique beachfront hotel, Holland House Hotel!

We focus on HBCU Alumni but we welcome all Black travelers on our trips! There are usually 1 or 2 people on every trip that did not attend an HBCU but want to travel the world with us!
