Join us in Nairobi and Maasai Mara, Kenya to experience the Great Migration, the Maasai tribe, authentic Kenyan food, vibrant nightlife and more!
Itinerary

Day 1 :
Welcome to Kenya! Plan to arrive by 5pm and you’ll be received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) with a warm welcome! Once you get settled, we’ll be heading to our welcome dinner to enjoy our first night in Nairobi!
Flights leave from the U.S. on Wednesday, July 23rd

Day 2 :
We’ll start today with our city tour in Nairobi! Then we’ll head to Maisha Girls Safe House, an organization and home with the mission to protect young women and girls, for our service project! After our project we’ll head back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and our night out in Nairobi!

Day 3 :
Today we’ll head to the National Museum of Kenya to learn about the history & culture of Kenya! After lunch we’ll make our way to the world famous giraffe center & elephant orphanage to feed the giraffes up close and learn about how they rescue and rehab the elephants!

Day 4 :
Get ready for a true safari excursion! Today we’re headed to Maasai Mara National Reserve, the best safari location in the world! Once we arrive at our hotel we’ll head out for our first game drive to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos, and more! Once we return we’ll enjoy dinner and relax at our safari lodge!

Day 5 :
We’re getting up early today to see the animals at prime time during the annual Great Migration, when millions of animals migrate from Maasai Mara to the Serengeti! This is the safari experience of a lifetime and we guarantee you’ll want all the photos you can get! After our second game drive we’ll head to a Maasai Village to learn about the Maasai tribe’s culture and practices.

Day 6 :
Today we’ll have our third and final game drive to try to catch any of the animals we may have missed! Then we’ll make our way back to Nairobi! Once we check into our hotel we’ll have some free time to rest or souvenir shop. Then we’ll get ready for our last dinner and night out in Kenya!

Day 7 :
We made it to the last day! We’ll pack our bags and head to the airport with amazing memories of Kenya and a new HBCU family!

Arrival and departures flights will be from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Flights are not included in the trip price. Please book your spot on the trip BEFORE you book your flight!
We will be staying at a 4 star hotel in Nairobi and in Maasai Mara! We will be in a hotel for our safari, not a tent.

We can not provide refunds if you miss the flight or get delayed due to the airline. Travel insurance is your best option to recoup any lost funds due to airline cancellations or delays.
