Day 1: Monday, December 29th🌴 Welcome to Curaçao! 🇨🇼
On arrival, our driver will welcome you and take you to The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon All-Inclusive Resort, our home for this New Year's getaway!
After check-in, you can lounge by the pool, hit the beach, or explore the resort amenities. 🍹🏝️

Day 2: Tuesday, December 30thRelax & Recharge or Explore Willemstad!
Today you can choose your own adventure! Stay at the resort and enjoy a laid-back day by the pool, the all-inclusive dining, and ocean views with a cocktail in hand. 🍹🏖️
For those looking to explore, join us on a local food walk & tasting! You'll get to enjoy local dishes made and served by Mamitas, neighborhood ladies, that will welcome you into their home to try their family recipes! You'll also learn about Otrobanda's historic streets and art as you experience Curacao's local culture.

Day 3: Wednesday, December 31stNew Year’s Eve in Curaçao! 🎉 Go to one or all of Curacao's New Year's Eve celebrations!
Join us at Pagara Street Party to kick off the festivities in Pietermaai with the legendary pagara, a massive firecracker chain lighting up the streets with music, dancing, and non-stop energy!
Next, celebrate early as Curaçao rings in 🥂 Dutch New Year (7 PM) with fireworks and beachfront vibes!
Then, as the clock strikes 12, the sky lights up across Willemstad and beaches for 🎇 Midnight Fireworks to ring in the New Year!
Finally, we'll keep the celebration going at beach clubs and rooftop bars where the music doesn’t stop until the sun comes up! 🍾🏝️

Day 4: Thursday, January 1st🏝️ Day 4: Recover or Rev Up! 🚀
After an unforgettable New Year’s Eve, today you can move at your own pace. Sleep in and lounge by the pool or choose from one of our adventerous options!
You can hop on an ATV and ride through Curaçao’s rugged landscapes or speed across the water on a jet ski! 🌊🏎️🔥

Day 5: Friday, January 2ndTil Next Time! ✈️
Today our Curaçao adventure comes to an end! We’ll enjoy one last breakfast together then head to the airport with lifelong memories and an even bigger HBCU family. 💙🌍

Arrival and departures flights will be from Curaçao International Airport (CUR). Flights are not included in the trip price and must be booked by the individual separately. If you need assistance finding the best flight, please schedule a flight consultation with En Root Travel.
We are staying at The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive, Curio by Hilton. The resort features 4 restaurants, 2 bars, outdoor pool, and private beach!
We focus on HBCU Alumni but we welcome all Black travelers on our trips! There are usually 1 or 2 people on every trip that did not attend an HBCU but want to travel the world with us!
Yes! The add ons for this trip are the local food walk tour, jet skiing, and an ATV tour.
You can compare the best travel insurance options for you here. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover any delays from the airline or issues you encounter in entering the country. We can not provide refunds if you miss the flight or get delayed due to the airline. Travel insurance is your best option to recoup any lost funds due to airline cancellations or delays.
