Learn about the legacy of Black Wall Street! Join us in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a weekend full of culture, history, and fun!
Itinerary

Day 1 :Welcome to Tulsa! Plan to arrive between 8am - 12pm and check in to our downtown hotel! After you get settled and have a few hours rest or explore, we’ll head to Greenwood Cultural Center, a historic building and community dedicated to telling the real story of 1921. Then we’ll head to one of Tulsa’s Black owned restaurants for our Welcome Dinner!
After dinner the night yours to relax, enjoy Tulsa's nightlife, or explore the city!

Day 2 :Today we’ll meet with our tour guide, a descendant of 3 survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Massacre, and experience The Real Black Wall Street Tour! This driving and walking tour will take us through the Greenwood neighborhood to explore the streets of what was once one of America's wealthiest Black neighborhoods. We’ll also get a chance to learn about the initiatives to restore respect, repair, and reparation to the Historic Greenwood District.
After our tour, we’ll head to the strip of current Black owned businesses keeping the legacy of Black Wall Street alive and get a chance to shop with these businesses!
Finally, we’ll make our way back to the hotel to get ready for our Last Night Dinner out in Tulsa!

Day 3 :We made it to the last day but the fun is not over yet! You can enjoy the morning by exploring the city, getting a spa treatment, or relaxing in your room! After the free morning, we’ll head to brunch so we can enjoy one last meal at a Black owned business before we depart!
After brunch, we’ll make our way to the airport with unforgettable memories of our Black Wall Street trip and HBCU connections to last a lifetime!

Arrival and departures flights will be from Tulsa International Airport (TUL).
We will be staying at Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown! You can view images of the hotel under the “Hotel” tab.

We focus on HBCU Alumni but we welcome all Black travelers on our trips! There are usually 1 or 2 people on every trip that did not attend an HBCU but want to travel the world with us!
