Day 1: Wednesday, September 2ndWelcome to Bali! Once you arrive, you’ll check into our beautiful Ubud villa and settle into your home for the week! Tonight, we’ll enjoy a chef prepared welcome dinner featuring authentic Balinese dishes as we kick off our island experience together!
Flights leave from the U.S. on August 31st. Please book round-trip flights to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

Day 2: Thursday, September 3rdToday we’re heading to the Elephant Safari Park for an up close experience with these gentle giants! You’ll get a chance to feed and ride these amazing animals!
Next, we’ll visit the iconic Ubud swing for stunning photos overlooking the jungle! Then we’ll make our way to the famous Tegalalang Rice Fields for incredible views and unforgettable photos!

Day 3: Friday, September 4thThis morning we’ll visit the Sacred Monkey Forest to walk among ancient temples and meet the famous Balinese monkeys! Then we’re off to two of Bali’s beautiful waterfalls for views, photos, and time to enjoy the peaceful scenery!
Next, we’ll head back to the villa to relax and refresh before a fun night out in Seminyak!

Day 4: Saturday, September 5thToday is all about you! You can choose to start the morning with a relaxing spa treatment, then head to Finns Beach Club for music, views, and Bali’s beachside vibes or stay back at the villa and enjoy a peaceful day by the pool and an in villa massage!

Day 5: Sunday, September 6thToday is a free day with three amazing options! You can relax at the villa and enjoy a slow day, head to the famous Gate of Heaven and Water Palace for stunning photos, or choose an adrenaline filled white water rafting experience! The day is yours to do whatever you like!

Day 6: Monday, September 7thToday we’re diving into Balinese culture! We’ll start with a hands-on Balinese cooking class where you’ll learn traditional recipes and prepare an authentic lunch using fresh local ingredients!
After some downtime at the villa, we’ll head out in the evening for the Kecak Fire Dance performance, one of Bali’s most iconic cultural shows!

Day 7: Tuesday, September 8thYacht party anyone?! Get ready for a day on the water on our private yacht cruising through the beautiful Nusa Dua area!
We'll enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling in crystal clear blue water as we explore Bali’s coastline! It’s the perfect final adventure before heading home!

Day 8: Wednesday, September 9thWe made it to the last day! Enjoy a slow morning with free time to rest, shop, or explore before your departure flight!
The trip may be over but you’ll return with a new HBCU family and amazing memories of Bali!

We will be staying at a 10 bedroom villa in Ubud! The villa has 2 pools, a gym, tennis court, house staff, private chef, and en suite bathrooms!
You can compare the best travel insurance options for you here. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover any delays from the airline or issues you encounter in entering the country. We can not provide refunds if you miss the flight, get delayed due to the airline, or are unable to attend the trip for any reason. Travel insurance is your best option to recoup any lost funds.
