Join us in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto on this must see journey through Japan’s big city life, one of a kind activities, authentic cuisine and so much more!
Itinerary

Day 1 :Welcome to Japan! Plan to arrive by 5pm and you’ll be received at Haneda Airport (HND) with a warm welcome! Once you get settled, we’ll head to our welcome dinner to enjoy our first night in Tokyo!

Day 2 :Today we're exploring Tokyo! We'll see Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya Crossing, and more! After our city tour we'll head back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and our Mario Go Kart Tour (add on)! We'll get to choose our costumes and hop in a custom go kart to tour the city at night!
The Mario Go Kart Tour is an add on that can be added at check out. If you choose this add on we will also share the information on how to obtain an international drivers permit.
Thursday, November 6

Day 3 :It's shopping time! Today we’re going to Akihabara, Tokyo’s electronics and anime hub, to check out all the unique items for our manga and anime fans! Then we'll head to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and Tsukiji Market for lunch!
Later tonight we'll get to experience a sushi making class where we'll learn how to make sushi rolls from expert instructors!
Friday, November 7

Day 4 :This morning we're jumping on the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka. Once we arrive we'll check in to the hotel then see the city!
Osaka is known for it's food so we'll start at Dontonbori to experience their best known cuisine. Then we'll visit Osaka Castle, Shitennoji Temple, and Kuchu Teien Observatory.
Saturday, November 8

Day 5 :It's our free day! Today you can go to Universal Studios with our team, have a spa day, go on a food tour, go shopping, or anything else you like!
Universal Studios is an add on. Information regarding pricing will be sent out in 2025 as prices will likely change from the 2024 rates.
Sunday, November 9

Day 6 :Today we're going to Kyoto, Japan's former capital city to experience their traditions and culture! First, we'll stop at Nara Park to enjoy the nature including the famous deer!
Then we'll make our way to Kyoto to experience Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, and more!
We'll spend tonight in Kyoto to get some rest after our full day!
Monday, November 10

Day 7 :This morning we'll take the bullet train back to Tokyo! Once we're in Tokyo the day is yours to do some last minute shopping or sight seeing before dinner and our last night out!

Day 8 :We made it to the last day! We’ll pack our bags and head to the airport with amazing memories of Japan and a new HBCU family!

Arrival and departures flights will be from Haneda Airport (HND). Flights are not included in the trip price. Please book your spot on the trip BEFORE you book your flight!
We will be staying at 4 star hotels in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

We focus on HBCU Alumni but we welcome all Black travelers on our trips! There are usually 1 or 2 people on every trip that did not attend an HBCU but want to travel the world with us!
Yes! The add ons for this trip are the Mario Go Kart tour in Tokyo and Universal Studios tickets in Osaka.
